Claiming Time Savings: Record the Start, Finish and Rework

It only takes a few seconds for AI to generate a piece of content, but it does not mean that the entire service only takes a few seconds. This article discusses how small teams can record preparation, production, review, and revision time to form a clearly scoped picture of efficiency and differentiate between a one-time sample and ongoing performance. The article focuses on evidence-based methods and does not provide general numbers for promotional purposes, nor does it package internal measurements into independent reviews or customer testimonials of results.

Tracking data provides context for phased measurements. The following is ChinaOPC’s original business analysis. Specific external statements must still comply with actual evidence and applicable rules.

Compare same delivery criteria

Simulate a report. Both the manual process and the AI process should meet the same content and format requirements. If AI only generates the first draft, but manual time includes final proofreading, a direct comparison between the two would be misleading. Input sorting and waiting for customer confirmation should also indicate whether it will be included.

rework cannot disappear from the record

Record the first results, manual modifications and failed reruns, respectively indicating the working time and natural waiting time. When selecting samples, keep difficult tasks and don't just choose the one that is easiest to succeed as a representative.

External conclusions are limited to the scope of evidence

You can tell what was observed for a certain type of task, a certain version, and under specific conditions without inferring that all customers will get the same results. Exact proportions are not written without measurements, and internal estimates are marked separately from formal verification. This article does not provide any ChinaOPC or customer efficiency measurements.
