Understand exhibition area arrangements and long-term services separately
The public notice introduces the "OPC Forest Community" as an exhibition area at the Global Digital Business Conference from October 30 to 31, bringing together the services and corporate displays of 9 communities. Lujiazui Digital Intelligence Port OPC Community is one of the participants. The material mentions applications such as manufacturing quotations and warehouse management, as well as product experience and supply and demand information exchange arrangements.
This is an event preview and cannot be used to confirm that all courses, experience projects or subsequent cooperation have been completed. This article studies the docking method according to the public arrangement. It does not register the temporary exhibition area into a long-term office park, nor does it infer how many registration places are available on site. Specific activity arrangements and follow-up services should still be verified with the organizer or operator.
ChinaOPC Analysis: It is best to leave a discussion question in the demonstration
When preparing a presentation for a small team, a limited amount of time can be set aside for a complete task. For example, use simulation materials to demonstrate the process of a warehousing record from input, discovery of missing items to personnel confirmation, so that the other party can see the input requirements, output content and areas that require collaboration. Demonstration data should indicate its nature and cannot be packaged in fictitious company names to represent customers it has served.
You can end by asking the prospect to point out how their actual process differs from the demo: Are there more fields, different data sources, or do they need to plug into an old system? If only the tool names are exchanged, it will be difficult for both parties to judge whether they are suitable; recording a specific difference will ensure a clear target for subsequent communication. This is ChinaOPC advice and is not a paraphrase of a live talk at the show.
Distinguish between customer leads, collaboration partners and service resources
The contact information exchanged may correspond to procurement needs, or it may come from partners who want to jointly develop, or operations personnel who provide office and training. Teams can record each other’s roles, the problems they hope to solve, the materials they promise to add, and the next steps agreed upon by both parties to avoid counting all communications as sales opportunities.
If the other party has not agreed to provide business information, you can first send a one-page capability description and simulation case to ask them to confirm whether it is worth continuing to communicate. If you need to display customer results, you should first confirm the scope of display. An acquaintance at a public event does not imply permission for bulk marketing, forwarding contact details, or publicizing their needs.
Use a clearly scoped verification task to undertake the communication
If both parties are willing to continue the discussion, they can first jointly determine a small task: what materials to use, what results will be seen after completion, and who will judge whether the requirements are met. The scope of trial, paid trial and formal delivery are different. When communicating, the cost, data preparation and additional modifications should be explained, and the workload cannot be continuously expanded with vague trial promises.
In the review after the exhibition, you can separately count the materials that have been reissued, the responses received, the tasks that have been clarified, and the projects that have been signed; these stages cannot be combined into an exaggerated order number. When preparing capability materials, you can refer to Zhejiang OPC scene docking preparation. This article provides original docking methods and does not mean that any participating team has achieved the described cooperation results.
