Which Samples to Show: Demos, Authorized Cases and Original Client Materials

Demonstrating delivery capabilities requires examples, but taking a real-life example from a customer may go beyond what is allowed. This article proposes a three-layer management idea for demonstration materials, distinguishes between self-made simulations, authorized cases, and original materials for project use only, and explains what instructions should be attached to each layer. Good examples should help customers understand the process and should not rely on leaking information or obscuring facts to increase credibility.

OWASP sensitive information data prompts the data exposure risk of model application. This article extends it to the operation and management of pre-sales displays and does not identify rights to specific materials.

Simulation examples should clarify their simulation nature

You can create your own fictitious products, customer names and data to fully demonstrate the delivery process. Sample values cannot be packaged as real business results, and fictitious feedback cannot be written as customer reviews. The value of simulation is to demonstrate the method, not to prove the effect.

Authorization case clearly states the scope of allowed display.

Confirm the content, channels and time that can be disclosed, and try to retain only necessary information in the public version. The customer's permission for internal review does not mean permission for use in advertising or display to other companies. The specific basis needs to be checked separately.

The original data is only used within the project scope

Real account numbers, contact information and undisclosed business materials will not be put into the demonstration environment. The team conducts a check when preparing the demo package to avoid automatically generating reports that bring out the original attachments. This article does not consider anonymization to be a license for arbitrary disclosure in all circumstances.
