After an OPC Event: Turn Conversations into a Small Testable Task

After exchanging contact information, how do you judge whether a community exchange is worth entering into actual collaboration? This article starts from the common customer problem, designs the investment time, sample results, scope of use and agreement of the confirmer, sorts out the responsibility to customers, reuse of results and end arrangements, and helps entrepreneurs test their rhythm and ability with a small task before deciding on the next step.

The value of the exchange is different from the transaction status

Xinhuanet interviews and Suzhou Partnership Program public information demonstrate the role of community exchanges and service connections. This article discusses how to advance cooperation based on this, and does not automatically list event participants as ChinaOPC business partners or current demand parties.

First find a common task

After getting to know each other, you can first explain your respective capabilities, whether the customers actually exist, and the specific problems that need to be solved. When there are no common tasks, maintain communication first; there is no need to announce undetermined projects to the outside world in order to form a name for cooperation.

If both parties are willing to try it out, choose a small sample that does not rely on a large amount of sensitive information, and agree on the investment time, result format, scope of use, and confirmer. When real customers are involved, state in advance who is responsible for the customer; when joint results are involved, reuse, signature, and post-end handling are clearly stated.

Basis for judging continuation

Look at whether the sample can help the customer, whether the responsibilities are enforceable, and whether the rhythm of both parties is appropriate, rather than just counting how many contact details were exchanged. Allowing a clear stop after the trial is over reduces the long-term burden of ambiguous relationships. Extended reading: Guo Jilong’s community collaboration clues.
