Different from directly generating an article
Potential customers have authorized interview or training recordings and need easier retrieval. Help them find original speech rather than turn unchecked oral statements into public facts. Define permitted audio uses before starting.
Deliver three layers
First supply timestamps and unclear-speech marks, then topics and speaker mappings, and finally optional draft summaries. Re-listen for names, amounts, dates and terminology, distinguishing opinions from editorial inference. Official tools such as FFmpeg provide technical background; the service design is ours.
Discuss acceptance with a sample
Use an authorized short segment containing multiple speakers and ambiguity to test return-to-audio accuracy. Keep unresolved words flagged despite fluent model output. Public release requires separate permission from internal organization.
Identify main costs
Quality, speakers, specialist vocabulary and human listening determine effort. Separate machine processing from proofreading and agree retention and deletion of audio, text and backups. Related: audio repurposing.
