What the open-resource announcement suggests
Shanghai's planning and natural resources authority dates its introduction to October 7, 2026. It describes Mowan Shikong's Taige base model opening to the public and developers, with 3D scenes, route roaming and tourism uses. Confirm development scope, access and actual terms with the platform.
Our hypothesis is a discussable digital prototype for one neighborhood route. We have no commission and have not tested full capabilities, API reliability or commercial arrangements. Open resources are not automatically unrestricted resale assets.
Identify the person making a decision
Prospects might include exhibition planners, venue operators explaining routes or tourism planners organizing neighborhood content. Distinguish advance review, on-site guidance and promotional content. A meeting demo is not automatically a navigation service.
Bring a one-page brief covering users, location, decisions and information providers. A simple route diagram may suffice without an ongoing 3D application. These are demand-research directions, not awarded or tendered contracts.
Make the first sample reveal problems
Limit it to a clear theme and a few nodes with names, sources, human-check dates and route relationships, plus screenshots or documents for comments. A model is a presentation medium, not evidence for history, hours or visitor conditions.
Ask whether people understand sequence, clients can identify corrections and producers can revise specific nodes accurately. Verify access and opening independently; a visible 3D path does not establish that visitors can use it.
Estimate production separately from maintenance
- Production: organizing sources, checking nodes, visuals, platform learning and reviews.
- Delivery: one demo, a file package or an ongoing entry point; confirm exports and deployment.
- Maintenance: responsibility for new information, changes and rechecking.
- Resources: licenses, accounts, APIs, quotas and files after exit.
Decide through specific feedback, actual trial time and confirmed resource conditions. Public introductions cannot replace product validation or costing; we have no basis for universal prices or expected earnings.
