Photography Asset Registers: Recording Uses, Approvers and Restrictions Together

A photograph's presence on a drive does not establish reuse rights. This unvalidated register service helps studios repeatedly selecting images, delivering usage records, approval states and source references. AI organizes existing notes without deciding ownership. Missing evidence remains unresolved; a spreadsheet is not authorization.

This original proposal draws on structured-data materials for field design. It is not legal review and supplies no permission for particular assets.

Help buyers identify whom to ask

Record asset IDs, projects, suppliers, known uses, restrictions and approvers. Maintain controlled references to contracts and permissions rather than sharing sensitive documents with every selector. Clearly flag missing evidence.

Start with one completed project

Show fictional examples to studio contacts, then request a directory they are authorized to share. Test whether editors can find the relevant approver, without claiming to resolve all copyright issues in one pass.

Assign responsibility for later changes

Update the register when permissions, partnerships or client requirements change. Separate initial work from maintenance and identify judgments for clients or specialists. AI must not infer consent from filenames; the register cannot replace actual rights evidence.
