OCR gets the recognition result

Tesseract official manual introduces the ability to extract text from images. Recognizing text does not mean that the original content has been approved; tilted scanning, seals, table lines and low definition may affect the results, and subsequent AI question and answer may also use these errors.

Check first for positions that change meaning

Establish the corresponding relationship between the original document, page number and recognized text, and prioritize the decimal amount, unit of measurement, date, conditional words and negative expressions. Tables should also check whether columns and columns are misaligned and whether footnotes are spelled into the text. Marks are retained when the original is illegible and are quietly completed without context.

Spot checks can be grouped by scan quality and content type, rather than just looking at the first few pages. For high-impact information, the customer's designated personnel will check it item by item. Repeated identification to obtain the same result does not mean accuracy, and acceptance still requires returning to the original.

Content delivered to the next link

In addition to the text, the page index, abnormal location and verification status should also be given. Laws, regulations or official attachments are not checked item by item and OCR output is not marked as accurate original text. Extended reading: PDF document question and answer research.
