Jiangsu's OPC Intellectual-Property Guide: Clarify Inputs and Results before Collaboration

The Artificial Intelligence OPC Intellectual Property Compliance Guidelines jointly issued by the three departments of Jiangsu Province provide search clues covering trademarks, patents, copyrights, trade secrets and data rights. This article starts from a customer cooperation and organizes the sources of materials, results handover and preparation methods for subsequent use; the official terms retain the original link, and work records do not replace professional judgment, nor do they constitute registration or project compliance certification.

Find the original file first, then select your own business problem

The Sushangtong government platform published the Artificial Intelligence OPC Intellectual Property Compliance Guidelines jointly issued by the Jiangsu Provincial Intellectual Property Office, the Provincial Market Supervision Administration, and the Provincial Copyright Administration on July 31. The notice was signed on July 28. The attachment contains chapters on trademarks, patents, copyrights, trade secrets, and data intellectual property. It is an existing public resource and is not a new filing notice today.

When reading, you can first read the description of the nature of the document in the appendix, and then check the relevant chapters according to the work you are doing. ChinaOPC provides an independent cooperation preparation method below. It does not replace the original documents, nor does it equate the completion of a record with the project having passed compliance certification.

Work backwards from the delivery list to determine which materials to use.

Taking the production of a product introduction video as a simulation task, the pictures given by the customer, the team's own material, third-party music and AI-generated clips may all appear in the finished film at the same time. Listing the materials in terms of actual delivery first is more likely to reveal unanswered questions than writing in general terms "all original." This example is not an official case or real customer record.

For each material, the provider, original location, intended use, and pending confirmations can be noted. For example, if a picture can be used for internal discussions, whether it can also enter public advertising requires further verification based on actual documents and agreements. When the source is unknown, leave questions first and prevent AI from filling in the authorization instructions for the material.

When discussing results, separate several handovers

Delivering the finished video, handing over the editable project, allowing the client to continue making modifications, and whether it can be displayed on your own website are different cooperation issues. During the discussion, clearly state the expectations of all parties item by item, and avoid covering up subsequent differences with the sentence "I'll give you the documents." How to agree on specific rights should be judged based on project materials and professional opinions. This article does not provide general authorization terms.

If an external designer or developer is temporarily added, the original tasks and materials contacted by the other party can be matched with the final delivery. Having fewer people does not mean that the cooperation chain is short; the understanding of the same results by customers, core members and external collaborators also needs to be explained before handover.

Public project introduction, prepared separately from internal work materials

For entrepreneurial teams that want to present their projects, they can first prepare a version suitable for public explanation and only retain information that has been confirmed to be displayed. Client lists, quotes, unreleased products, and working examples don’t all need to be put on the pitch page just to make the case appear complete.

For example, a simulation demonstration can be clearly labeled as a simulation and state the work steps it intends to demonstrate. When some materials of the real project cannot be displayed yet, you can retain this boundary and continue to explain what tasks you have undertaken, instead of changing the client's name and treating the entire set of materials as public materials.

AI can help with collection, but judgment still needs to go back to the file

AI can help organize different materials into a directory to be checked and indicate what information is missing. Before submitting to the tool, confirm that the data is suitable for processing in the tool; the generated instructions must also correspond to the actual materials, and a smooth summary cannot be used to replace the original agreement or platform rules.

You can record the evidence you have found, the team's own understanding, and the questions you plan to ask separately. When consulting with professional service personnel, explaining the specific usage scenarios and existing agreements is more convenient for discussion than just asking "Is there any risk in this?" The value of records lies in reducing omissions, not in allowing the system to automatically issue legal conclusions.

The next step can be to start from an ongoing cooperation, organize the material catalog, delivery objects and subsequent use requirements, and then check the original documents and applicable rules.
